Nature, place and slow making with DIJANNE CEVAAL • Dijanne Cevaal is a Dutch-born, Australia-based textile artist who has built an international reputation through her itinerant teaching and exhibiting across Europe, Australia and Asia. She is widely known for her long running blog Musings of a Textile Itinerant and her commitment to sharing skills with communities, including work with small Indigenous groups to upskill women in textile techniques. Her work includes richly layered, hand-dyed, hand-printed and densely stitched textile works that blend storytelling, travel, nature and environmental observation. Her practice is grounded in sustainability, natural materials and a deep engagement with place.
