CLASSIC & RETRO CAR REVIVAL, TATTON PARK • The north west's passion for historic motoring was on full display at Tatton Park over the weekend of 15 and 16 August as the Classic & Retro Car Revival welcomed enthusiasts for a celebration of automotive heritage. Building on a legacy of more than three decades of classic motoring events at the venue, the show once again proved why it remains one of the region's most popular dates on the classic car calendar. With around 2000 classic vehicles on display across the weekend, visitors were treated to an extraordinary showcase of motoring history spanning numerous decades, marques and styles. From beautifully restored family favourites and cherished British classics to eye-catching sports cars and rare collector vehicles, the event offered something to appeal to every generation of enthusiast. A major attraction was the vast array of club displays, where owners proudly exhibited their cars and shared the stories behind them. Alongside the club stands, individual vehicle displays provided visitors with the opportunity to admire some outstanding privately owned classics, many presented to an exceptional standard. Adding further variety to the event was a popular military vehicle display, showcasing a selection of historic machinery that offered a fascinating glimpse into motoring's role in military history. The ever-popular Sporting Bears Motor Club also returned to Tatton Park, offering charity passenger rides in a range of exciting vehicles. Their much loved "Dream Rides" gave visitors the chance to enjoy a memorable motoring experience while raising valuable funds for a local children's charity. Blessed with pleasant weather and a vibrant atmosphere, the Classic & Retro Car Revival once again demonstrated its status as one of the biggest and most enjoyable classic car events in the north west.
