Now & Then … A Retrospective of Two Vintages • There are wines, and then there are iconic wines. Early in my career, I became fascinated by the sweeter end of the wine spectrum. Partly because these wines possess an extraordinary ability to bring a unique sense of comfort and contentment to my soul, and partly because of their remarkable capacity to age in ways that many other wines simply do not. One of the most renowned wines in this category – and one that somehow seems to exist outside the framework of other wines in a similar style – is Moulin Touchais.
